Private Firm Records Can Be Made Public

The state Supreme Court recently issued a unanimous ruling that the Right to Know law applies to private companies performing public functions. The court affirmed a Commonwealth Court decision that held that a private, third-party government contractor that operates a sports and entertainment venture for a county stadium authority can be required to make its contract information public.
