Diversity is inherently valuable in the workplace. Diversity within a law firm enables an exchange of unique ideas and a variety of perspectives, which is necessary to provide clients with the highest level of service and innovative legal thinking.
We at Leech Tishman understand the value of diversity within our firm. We consider and foster diversity and inclusion in our workplace to reflect our values and the values of our clients. This is demonstrated by the composition of our law firm. Over 30% of our partners and over 70% of our associates are diverse.
Of course, we do not stop at simply hiring a diverse workforce. We strive to ensure that all of our employees enjoy a respectful and supportive work environment, by promoting inclusion and diversity and by prohibiting discrimination. We are committed to making sure that not only our partnership, but also our firm leadership reflects our commitment to diversity and inclusion. Our female and minority firm leaders serve on our Management Committee and chair a number of practice groups, including the Alternate Dispute Resolution, Employment, Family Law, Internal Investigations, Real Estate, and Taxation practice groups.
We also understand the value of promoting diversity and inclusion generally in the communities that we serve. To further this goal, we sponsor and support participation and membership in a variety of professional and community organizations focused on promoting diversity and inclusion. Some of the organizations that we have supported and the roles our attorneys have taken at these organizations are highlighted in the table below.
