Managing Partner Pete A. Fuscaldo was recently featured in The Pittsburgh Business Times article, “Many corporate legal departments plan to spend more on outside counsel in 2018.” The article, published on November 15, 2017, discusses results from Altman Weil’s 18th annual survey of chief legal officers, which found that “more corporate law departments plan to increase their outside counsel spend next year than those that anticipate a decrease.”

The change is driven by in-house departments with fewer than 10 lawyers, according to the survey. “I think law firms try to listen more and understand what companies need,” said Pete Fuscaldo.
