Ryan O. Hemminger made his political debut with a victory over Keith Balint to become a School Director for Elizabeth Forward School District. Hemminger, a Partner in the Litigation Practice Group, received 56% of the vote in a hard fought campaign.
Borough Council members handle matters such as finance (budgets and revenues, including taxes); community planning and infrastructure; police, fire, and emergency services; and borough personnel contracts. School Directors are responsible for school district policies; school district finance; teacher contracts; and strategic planning, including school construction.
