On Thursday, January 18, Amazon announced the top 20 city candidates for its second headquarters location. The list included Pittsburgh, PA. In its release, Amazon detailed its investment in the surrounding Seattle community, including the entrepreneur community. Amazon emphasized that more than half of the items sold by Amazon worldwide are from small businesses and entrepreneurs using Amazon Marketplace to reach new customers.
