About this Event
Every litigator who practices in federal court is statistically more likely to participate in a mediation than in a trial. However, compared to the amount of time spent preparing for depositions and trial, many litigators spend very little time preparing for mediation. Yet mediation offers clients a crucial opportunity to settle a dispute on their terms before spending countless hours and an incredible amount of money on litigation. Savvy litigators prepare carefully and employ strategies in mediation to make the most of mediation, whether to maximize client settlement value or to learn about the strengths and weaknesses of their case. In this program, seasoned mediators share their tips for mediation strategies that work.
