Common Sense Communications- How to Avoid Legal Entanglements
While most public employees are more “electronically” connected than ever, training supervisors “how” to speak with one another in the workplace, and when and what to document, continues to challenge ever the most mature public employers. In terms of people being directed, many grievances, mediations, arbitrations and litigation could be avoided by training supervisors “how” to engage with their workers, “where” to provide direction, “what” to do when challenged, and “when” to follow up, and “what” to document (or avoid documenting).
