Workplace Violence Prevention
Join us as Leech Tishman attorney Philip A. Toomey and Nelson Hardiman attorney Harry Nelson provide guidance on workplace violence prevention plans, including drafting and creation; employee training; and reporting requirements.
Starting July 1, 2024, California employers are required to adopt comprehensive workplace violence prevention plans. This includes creating a plan that assesses and mitigates the risk of violence, providing training to all employees, maintaining a violence incident log, and conducting periodic reviews of the plan.
