Leech Tishman is pleased to announce that two of its Partners were recently admitted to additional courts in the U.S. Christopher S. Channel, a Partner at Leech Tishman and member of the Litigation Practice Group, was recently admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court of the Central District of Pennsylvania. Channel is based in Leech Tishman’s Pittsburgh, PA office. Employment & Labor Practice Group Partner Lisa Alexis Jones was admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals, Second Circuit. Jones is based in the firm’s New York City office.
As a member of the Litigation Practice Group, Channel co-leads the Product Liability Defense Group and the Restrictive Covenants/Non-Competes Group. Channel is an experienced trial lawyer who has defended industrial manufacturers and business owners in claims involving allegations of toxic substances, defective products, premises liability and negligence. During the course of his career, Channel has represented members of the natural resources industries in matters impacting their business. He regularly represents parties in protecting their intellectual property through trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and covenants not-to-compete and has experience in alternative dispute resolution.
As a member of the Employment & Labor Practice Group, Jones leads the Workplace Harassment & Discrimination Group. She is also a member of the Litigation Practice Group where she co-leads the Government and Internal Investigations Group. Jones counsels individuals, institutions and corporations on a broad spectrum of employment & labor legal matters. She is a seasoned litigator with a depth of litigation and trial expertise focusing on labor, employment, class action defense and complex commercial and white-collar criminal matters. Jones also practices out of Leech Tishman’s Washington, D.C. location.
