Leech Tishman Business Restructuring & Insolvency Partner Sandford L. Frey Appointed as Executive Vice President of Pasadena Symphony & Pops

LOS ANGELES, CA – September 27, 2023 – Leech Tishman is pleased to announce that Business Restructuring & Insolvency Partner, Sandford L. Frey, was recently appointed as the Executive Vice President of the Pasadena Symphony & Pops. In 2022, Frey was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Pasadena Symphony & Pops, where he continues to serve his three-year term. He also joined the association’s Governance Committee earlier this year. Frey’s two-year term as Executive Vice President commences on October 1, 2023.

Frey co-leads the Bankruptcy Chapter 11 Debtor and Bankruptcy Chapter 11 Subchapter V Debtor Groups. Based in the Los Angeles office, Frey has experience with out-of-court workouts, Chapter 11 reorganizations, bankruptcy, insolvency and lending, real estate, general corporate and transactional matters and wine law. Frey has over 38 years of experience representing debtors, lenders, purchasers, creditors and borrowers in and out of Chapter 11 matters, as well as in business and lending transactions and loan workouts.

ABOUT PASADENA SYMPHONY & POPS

The Pasadena Symphony and POPS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 1928 by Conductor Reginald Bland. Originally named the Pasadena Civic Orchestra, its first members were mostly volunteer musicians, many of whom were students of Bland. The annual operating budget was a mere $3,500, which was funded entirely by the City of Pasadena. Because of the tremendous support it continually received from the local community, the Pasadena Symphony grew into a nationally recognized, fully professional orchestra. The Pasadena Symphony Association officially merged the Pasadena Symphony and POPS in 2007.
