Leech Tishman is pleased to announce the election of Irfan M Dinani as a new partner of the firm. In addition, Leech Tishman partners David V. Weicht and John M. Steiner were elected to serve a two-year term on the firm’s Management Committee, where they will oversee firm governance, strategic planning, and daily operational issues for the firm. David and John join existing Management Committee members, Pete A. Fuscaldo (Managing Partner), William A. Buck, and Wanda Pistella.
Irfan M. Dinani is a member of the Corporate and Real Estate Practice Groups. Dinani is based in the Pittsburgh office, where he focuses his practice on corporate and international law, with particular emphasis on securities, cross-border transactions, regulatory, and transportation matters in North America, the United Arab Emirates, and Tanzania. Dinani is also a member of the Data Privacy & Cybersecurity Group, and leads the firm’s Emerging Cyber Technologies Industry Group. He works closely with the Estates & Trusts Practice Group on Islamic estate planning initiatives for clients.
David V. Weicht serves as Co-Chair of the Litigation Practice Group, where he leads the Appellate Group and the Shareholder/Equity Disputes Group, and also co-leads the Commercial Litigation Group. Weicht is based in the Pittsburgh office, where he handles a wide variety of complex commercial litigation matters as an experienced litigator and across a wide range of industries for over 20 years.
John M. Steiner currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of the firm, where he oversees the administrative departments including finance, IT, HR and Marketing. Steiner is based in the Pittsburgh office and is also a member of the Business Restructuring & Insolvency Practice Group, where he served as Co-Chair for many years. Steiner co-leads the Bankruptcy Chapter 11 Debtor Group and leads the firm’s Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Proceeding Group.
