Pittsburgh, PA – February 17, 2022- Leech Tishman is pleased to announce that Intellectual Property Practice Group partner Alicia M. Passerin-Hunt, Ph.D. will be serving as a Guest Lecturer for a University of Pittsburgh Swanson School of Engineering graduate level bioengineering course entitled, “Medical Product Entrepreneurship.” Passerin-Hunt will be teaching a class entitled, “Protecting Your Innovation” on Thursday, February 17, 2022.
Passerin-Hunt is based in Leech Tishman’s Pittsburgh office, where she focuses her practice on patent prosecution, protection of trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, licensing, opinions and litigation. Her multi-disciplinary background provides her with the ability to counsel clients in the life sciences and in the chemical, biotechnical, mechanical, and software engineering fields. Prior to attending law school, Passerin-Hunt was a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Pittsburgh Department of Neuroscience, where her training was in the field of Neurobiology with subspecialty training in the fields of Neuroanatomy, Cardiovascular Physiology, and Immunology.
