Leech Tishman is pleased to announce that Litigation Partner John J. Jacko has been appointed to the Alumni Board of Emory University School of Law. Jacko will serve during the 2025-26 association year, beginning Sept. 1, 2025.
As an Alumni Board Member, Jacko will collaborate with the Advisory Board to advise the dean and senior staff on matters affecting the Emory Law community. He will also contribute to strategic planning initiatives aimed at enhancing alumni engagement and helping the law school remain responsive to developments in the legal profession and the needs of its alumni.
Jacko is based in Leech Tishman’s Philadelphia office and also practices out of the firm’s Cherry Hill, New Jersey location. He is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Labor & Employment Practice Groups. His practice focuses on business and commercial litigation, banking and creditor’s rights law, and consultant negligence. Jacko also has extensive experience handling employment litigation matters involving confidentiality and non-competition agreements, Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
