EL SEGUNDO, CA – January 2, 2020 – Leech Tishman is pleased to announce the selection of Los Angeles-based partner Philip A. Toomey as Chair of the firm’s national Employment Practice Group.
A prominent California business, labor & employment attorney, Phil joined the firm in 2018 and has been instrumental in the expansion of the firm’s West Coast operations as well as the opening of a new office in LAX/El Segundo, CA.
Phil is a member of the Employment, Corporate, Litigation and Real Estate Practice Groups. He is based in Leech Tishman’s LAX office where he manages California business, labor and employment matters. Phil serves as the trusted outside general counsel for international, privately held, and small to mid-market companies in the aerospace, transportation, manufacturing, food production, office and retail services industries, among others. He has been a lawyer for over 40 years, is ranked in the top 1% of all employment lawyers in the United States and has counseled hundreds of business owners in how to stay clear of expensive problems.
Phil regularly advises clients on issues involving commercial & civil litigation, employment law, insurance and risk management, ethics and business compliance, real estate, intellectual property, internal/external investigations, strategic transactions, corporate structure issues and other business law matters.
