Leech Tishman National Employment & Labor Chair Philip A. Toomey Appointed to the Board of Representatives for the California Lawyers Association

LOS ANGELES, CA – March 23, 2023 – Leech Tishman is pleased to announce that partner and National Employment & Labor Chair, Philip A. Toomey, was recently appointed to the Board of Representatives for the California Lawyers Association (CLA). In 2021, Toomey was appointed to the Executive Committee of the California Lawyers Association Public Law Section, where he continues to serve his two-year term.

As a member of the Board of Representatives, Toomey will be involved in delivering high-quality programs, events, and resources to members of the CLA. Board members also advocate on behalf of CLA members before the Legislature, the Judiciary, the Executive Branch, and the State Bar of California, promoting excellence, diversity, and inclusion in the legal profession and fairness in the administration of justice and the rule of law.

In addition to serving as National Chair of the Leech Tishman’s Employment & Labor Practice Group, Toomey also leads the firm’s Public Sector Employment Group. He is also a member of the Litigation Practice Group, where he co-leads the Restrictive Covenants / Non-Competes Group. Toomey is based in the firm’s Los Angeles office.

Toomey has more than 37 years of successful business and courtroom experience in helping business owners and organizations sustain and build their enterprises.
