PITTSBURGH, PA – November 16, 2019 – On November 16, 2019, Leech Tishman’s Pittsburgh, PA office participated in the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh‘s “A Thanksgiving Distribution” Event. Nine Leech Tishman Associates volunteered to welcome guests, support food distribution, and also acted as escorts to help attending families navigate the event, where they received a variety of non-perishable food items to complement their holiday meal, as well as health care services such as flu shots and vision exams.
In addition to volunteering with the Urban League’s main event, Leech Tishman Associates also staffed the Allegheny County Bar Foundation table, answering basic legal questions and providing information for families who visited the table.
Approximately 1,00 families attended the event at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Over the course of the morning, families attending the event could receive food, turkey vouchers, and visit booths for a wide range of health care and human services vendors.
