Leech Tishman Premieres First Podcast: Cannabis LawTalk
PITTSBURGH, PA – January 15, 2020 – Leech Tishman is pleased to announce the premiere of its first podcast, Cannabis LawTalk (www.cannabislawtalk.com). Featuring Leech Tishman Partners and co-chairs of the firm’s Cannabis Team, Ken Foltz and Mike Sampson, the podcast episodes are focused on the business, politics and law of the ever-changing cannabis industry.
The podcast is national in scope, with particular attention on the newest cannabis legalization trends in California, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, New York and Pennsylvania.
As of January 2020, 11 states, as well as the District of Columbia, have legalized recreational marijuana. In addition, a total of 33 states allow for the use of medical marijuana.* According to Forbes, spending on legal cannabis worldwide is expected to reach $57 billion by 2027.**
Cannabis LawTalk will offer listeners insight, guidance, legal analysis and industry developments on the cannabis industry in layman’s terms. The target audience for this podcast includes those who are interested in starting, purchasing or investing in a cannabis, CBD, THC cannabinoid business or operating in the international industrial hemp arena, or are simply curious about the industry and its impact on communities and its citizens. The podcast will have a national scope, with particular attention on the newest laws in California and Pennsylvania.

About the Hosts, Ken & Mike
Kenneth C. Foltz, Sr. is a Partner with Leech Tishman and is based in the firm’s Pittsburgh office. He is a member of the Real Estate Practice Group and co-leads the firm’s Cannabis Industry Group.
