Leech Tishman is pleased to announce the addition of new attorney, Wakaba Tessier. Tessier will join the firm as a Partner in the Healthcare Practice Group. She will be based in the firm’s Chicago IL office and will focus her practice on minimizing risks for healthcare providers by ensuring their compliance with federal and state requirements.
Tessier provides legal counsel to a broad spectrum of healthcare providers and organizations, such as specialty pharmacies, infusion providers, physician groups, hospitals and health systems, clinical laboratories, behavioral health providers, home health agencies, telemedicine companies, healthcare-related startups, research institutions, and universities. She regularly advises clients on a wide range of regulatory issues and offers guidance on compliance with key federal laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Stark Law, and the False Claims Act.
