On Thursday, August 22 (UTC +8), Litigation Partner John D. D’Ercole took part in the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade’s (CCPIT) 8th International Mediation Summit held in Xinjiang, China. D’Ercole contributed to a session titled “Multi-Country Experience Sharing on Effectively Promoting Efficient Dispute Resolution,” where he presented on the mediation process in the United States and the various avenues available to litigators during proceedings.
The International Mediation Summit is a key event for promoting high-quality developments of diversified dispute resolution mechanisms in international commercial mediation. Since the event first took place seven years ago, it has become a hub of knowledge for professionals across political, business, and legal sectors, both domestically and internationally.
This year’s theme, “Deepen Reform and Innovation in Dispute Resolution Mechanisms and Promote the Development of Economic Trade & Investment,” brought together participants for discussions and exchanges with renowned experts, scholars, and corporate representatives from both domestic and international communities.
