Carolina S. Arenas focuses her practice on a broad range of healthcare matters, including regulatory compliance and government investigations. She assists clients in the healthcare and beauty and wellness industries on a variety of legal and operational issues.
Carolina advises clients on regulatory compliance matters involving the corporate practice of medicine, Stark Law, healthcare professionals’ scope of practice and supervision, healthcare privacy and security, and telehealth. Her practice also includes advising on billing and payor reimbursement matters, including overpayment appeals, and developing and reviewing policies and procedures to address and support compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
In addition, Carolina assists clients in connection with government investigations and related enforcement matters. She works with healthcare companies to assess risk, navigate operational challenges, and respond to issues that can affect regulatory compliance and patient care.
Carolina also co-hosts the firm’s Regulated Beauty podcast, launched in 2026 in support of its growing Beauty & Wellness practice. Through the podcast, she examines the legal, regulatory, and business issues shaping the beauty and wellness industry, offering practical insights on FDA and FTC compliance, advertising and marketing claims, privacy considerations, and emerging industry trends.
During law school, Carolina served as Executive Editor of the Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review.
