Christopher J. Owens is an Associate with Leech Tishman and a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group. He is also a member of the LaunchPad legal group, dedicated to providing legal services to start-ups. Chris is based in Leech Tishman’s Pittsburgh office, where he focuses his practice on all aspects of intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets.
Chris regularly handles matters including preparation and prosecution of U.S. patent applications, preparation and prosecution of U.S. trademark applications, patent and trademark litigation matters, oppositions of U.S. trademark applications, patent searches and instructing foreign associates regarding patent prosecution. He has experience with various technologies including mechanical tooling design, medical devices, environmental remediation systems, industrial materials, metal alloys and composites.
