Erik D. Slobe is an Associate with Leech Tishman and a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group. Erik is based in the Pittsburgh office, where he focuses his practice on all aspects of intellectual property law including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
Erik regularly drafts provisional and non-provisional patent application claims, specifications, and drawings for mechanical and computer system related technologies.
Erik has a rich background in nuclear engineering, engineering physics, and mathematics. He is also a registered professional engineer (PE) in Nuclear Engineering in the state of Pennsylvania. Prior to pursuing a law degree, Erik worked as a nuclear engineer designing nuclear power plants. Erik worked on the designs of advanced Pressurized Water Reactors, Boiling Water Reactors, and Small Modular Reactors. Erik also supported operating nuclear power plants during refueling outages.
