Marcus A. Lipinski is an Associate with Leech Tishman and a member of the firm’s Energy Practice Group. Marcus is based in Leech Tishman’s Pittsburgh office.
Marcus focuses his practice on energy law matters involving advising clients on their rights and obligations. He routinely determines and resolves title issues, including acreage discrepancies and multiple claims to title. Marcus regularly drafts, reviews and analyzes title opinions.
Marcus also performs pro bono work for a neighborhood legal clinic, advising clients on a broad spectrum of legal issues, including landlord-tenant disputes, breach of contract and breach of confidentiality issues, among others.
Prior to joining Leech Tishman, Marcus received his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law where he was a research assistant for Professor Jane Moriarty. He provided legal research in the areas of expert evidence, forensic admissibility and the insanity defense, among others, while helping develop and edit a supplement for a treatise on scientific evidence. Marcus also competed in three national mock trial competitions as a two-year member of Duquesne’s trial advocacy team.
