Marshall Gluck is a Partner in Leech Tishman Robinson Brog’s Corporate Practice Group and heads the firm’s Healthcare Industry Group. He is also a member of the Tax, Estates & Trusts, and Intellectual Property Practice Groups. Marshall is based in the firm’s New York office, where he focuses his practice on corporate transactions, healthcare, taxation, licensing and intellectual property, and estate planning/estate administration.
In his corporate practice, Marshall has had extensive experience representing companies and their owners and executives in a variety of business transactions, including the negotiation and structure of business start-ups, employment and consulting agreements, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate-related transactions and financing facilities. Marshall also advises individuals and family groups on business and estate planning, including both lifetime and generational planning.
Marshall has been involved in a number of international transactions in Europe, Latin America and Asia. He has represented companies and joint ventures engaged in technology and intellectual property transfers, manufacturing and distribution of various products, real estate and resort properties, and the exploitation and development of mineral resources.
In his health care practice, Marshall provides counsel to health care companies regarding strategic planning (in both business and regulatory settings), acquisitions and divestitures, joint offerings, secondary financings, regulatory compliance, and licensure. Marshall also represents physicians and physician groups and provides them with general corporate and business advice in their day-to-day operations. He has also represented physicians with respect to medical staff credentialing and privilege disputes as well as third party audits, licensing, and disciplinary proceedings. Marshall represents hospital-based provider groups and departments in negotiating and structuring their compensation and governance arrangements. In addition to his firm activities, Marshall is a member of The American Health Lawyers Association and has lectured at teaching hospitals in the New York metropolitan area on legal and business issues concerning the medical profession.
