Megan A. Smith is an Associate in Leech Tishman’s Litigation Practice Group. Megan is based in Leech Tishman’s Pittsburgh office where she focuses her practice on litigating standard and complex civil litigation matters.
Megan received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of law. While attending law school, Megan served as a teaching assistant for a legal analysis and writing class and was employed as a research assistant. She also served as Lead Notes & Comments Editor for the Journal of Law & Commerce and was the President of OutLaw. During law school, Megan was the recipient of a Dean’s Scholarship, the Taintor Memorial Award, the Herman L. Foreman Award and the Pro Bono Service Recognition Award. She also received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Employment Law, Conflicts of Law, Commercial Transactions, Legal Analysis & Writing, Law of Disability Discrimination, Criminal Law, and Legislation & Regulation.
