Pamela R. Miller
Counsel
Pamela Miller is Counsel at Leech Tishman and Leader of the firm’s Entertainment & Sports Industry Group. She is also a member of the Corporate Practice Group, where she is involved with Leech Tishman’s Nonprofit & Tax-Exempt Organizations Group. Pam splits her time between the firm’s New York and Los Angeles offices and focuses her practice in television media. With over 25 years of experience as a lawyer for the development, production, distribution, and exploitation of content in all media, and its licensing and merchandising, she offers legal expertise combined with sound business judgment on the realities that impact entertainment clients and related legal matters.
Pam is licensed to practice in New York. She is not licensed to practice in California.
Pam has held senior-level television business and legal affairs roles at major media companies including ABC, CBS, and Discovery for dramatic and non-fiction programs, sports, and news. In those roles, she oversaw, structured, and negotiated deals for broadcast network, syndication, digital platforms and cable. Her expertise covers programming for unscripted, animation, children’s programming, events, sports format sales, international production and distribution, and sponsorship, marketing, and promotion of events and programming. Pam has also advised clients on risk assessment, intellectual property matters, litigation, and employment matters.
Pam also has a wealth of experience in the nonprofit and philanthropy sector, as a professional, board member, and volunteer. Pam recently served as the CEO/Executive Director of the “I Have a Dream” Foundation-Los Angeles, where she was also a Board Member. In this role, Pam was responsible for overseeing operations, budgeting, fundraising, marketing, and human resources, and executing on the strategic direction set by the Board. She has also served as the Director of Major Gifts for the Greater Los Angeles Area for the Jewish National Fund. Over the course of her career, Pam has always been committed to serving the communities in which she lives, participating in a number of nonprofit boards as well as mentoring college-bound youth.
Pam’s legal career has also included representing clients on a wide variety of real estate matters.
