Yvette Michaud Hershey is an Associate with Leech Tishman and is based in the firm’s Pittsburgh office. She is a member of the Energy Practice Group and the Oil and Gas Subgroup. Yvette focuses her practice in the area of oil and gas and routinely counsels clients with respect to transactional, leasing, title and litigation matters in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio.
Yvette regularly advises clients on matters involving land management, mineral transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and business development. She has extensive experience analyzing complex mineral, oil, gas, surface and coal title in the Utica and Marcellus shale plays, as well as drafting employee contracts, limited liability company operating agreements, pipeline agreements, master service agreements, commercial rental agreements, asset purchase, assignment and divestiture agreements, mutual settlement and release agreements, and purchase and sale agreements.
Yvette also assists clients with commercial real estate closings.
Prior to joining Leech Tishman, Yvette was Executive Vice President of the Land & Legal Department of a West Virginia-based oil and gas firm, where she managed and closed over $3 million dollars in oil, gas and mineral asset acquisitions and divestitures. She also worked as a Senior Land Services Manager for a Houston-based midstream equity firm, where she was heavily engaged in a project to build a Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regulated 15-mile pipeline system.
